On Friday 18th September-2020 finally, Kia launched his most awaited 3rd car in India that is “Kia Sonet”.
The first time Kia Sonet was showcased in the 2020 Delhi Auto Expo event and planned to launch it in May or June 2020. However, due to COVID-19 Kia postponed Sonet launch to September-2020.

Kia Sonet launched with Six variants (HTE, HTK, HTK+, HTX, HTX+, and GTX+) and three engine options. It will compete against Maruti Suzuki, Vitara Brezza, Mahindra XUV300, Ford EcoSport, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Toyota Urban Cruiser, Renault Kiger and Nissan Magnite.

The exterior of the
Kia Sonet gives you an attractive look. On the front of Kia Sonet, you can see
an awesome black grille with integrated LED DRL's headlamp. Exactly below the
headlamp fog lamp is also available. On the backside, LED tail lamp makes Sonet
look very attractive.
If we discuss
dimension, Kia Sonet cames with 2500mm WheelBase, 3995mm Length, 1790mm Width,
1642mm Height and 211mm BootSpace. It
has 45litres fuel tank and 392litres boot space.

Sonet gives you a very good feeling. 10.25inch touch screen infotainment system is
available on the dashboard with Apple Car-play and Android auto supported. It
has a fully digital instrument cluster and an electric sunroof.
It also comes with a wireless Mobile charger, front-seat ventilation, BOSE sound system, Air purifier and the UVO connected car technology features.The UVO system allows users to make hands-free calls on their smartphone, stream music, navigate to a POI, and perform vehicle diagnostics with the use of voice commands.

Kia Sonet launched with three BS6 category engines and this all three engines are borrowed from the Hyundai Venue.
1) Smartstream
1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine.
This engine generates 82bhp power and 115Nm of torque. It has 5-Speed manual transmission and provides 18.4km/l mileage.
2) 1.0liter turbo
petrol engine.
This engine
generates 118 bhp power and 172 Nm of torque. It has 6-Speed iMT gear
transmission and provides 18.2 km/l mileage.
3) 1.5liter diesel
engine.
This engine generates 99 bhp power with 240 Nm of torque. It has 6-Speed manual gear transmission provides 24.1 km/l mileage.
If you buy 1.5-litre diesel engine with 6-Speed Automatic gearbox, then it will generates 113 bhp power, 240 Nm of torque and provides 19km/l mileage.
