off-road lover, Mahindra launched its second-generation Mahindra Thar on 2nd
October 2020 and delivery will start on 1st November 2020.
The
2020 Mahindra Thar comes with 3-variants AX, AX optional and
LX. It will compete
against upcoming Force Gorkha and Maruti Suzuki Jimny. |

Mahindra & Mahindra
offers the new Thar with halogen headlamp with integrated LED DRL’s lamps.
Exactly below the headlamp, you can see the fog lamp in top variants and on the
backside of the new Thar the tail lamp is available.
The Dimensions of 2020
Mahindra Thar is 2450mm Wheelbase, 3985mm length, 1855mm width, and 1844mm
height. Ground clearance for the base variant is 219mm and 226mm for LX
variant(Top Variant).
6-Seater Mahindra Thar has
only soft top while the 4-Seater has both(Soft top and hardtop).

New Thar interior is better than older Thar. On the dashboard
7-inch touch screen infotainment system with Android Auto & Apple CarPlay
Supported(Top variant). The multi-info display instrument cluster is also available
in 2020 Thar.
2020 Mahindra Thar
also comes with Manual AC, Remote Keyless Entry(with Hardtop), Power window,
power Steering, 12V accessory socket and USB connectivity(in Top variant).

The second generation Mahindra Thar launched with 2-Engine and
the both are BS6 category engines.
1) 2.0-litre petrol engine which will generate 150hp of power
and 300Nm(manual)/320Nm(AT) of torque.
2)2.2-litre Diesel engine will generate 130hp of power and 300NM
of torque.
Both engines get
6-speed Manual and Automatic gearbox options. As in Thar staple, 4x4 drivetrain
is standard on both the powertrains.

The starting price of 2020 Thar is Rs 9.80 lakh and goes up to
Rs 13.75 lakh. The Mahindra Thar launched with 6-colour options that are Galaxy
Grey, Aquamarine, Rocky Beige, Mystic Copper, Red Rage, and Napoli Black.
